Meeting Notes
The Machine Knitters of Pensacola, Florida met August 22, 2009 with Susan Spencer, Barbara Meloy, Karen Hughes, Jean Neal, Pat Lawson, Paige Petty, Ann Odom, Joni Ems and Theresa Barbarick in attendance.
Ann Odom presented the Color Changer with some success and some frustrations. It's amazing to me that each color changer/machine combination works so differently! We ALL need to go home and pull ours out and see just what we can do with them!
Barbara Meloy has collected $57 from sales of magazines Jinx gave to the club. We will be using this money for supplies for a future knit-in.
Theresa Barbarick joined Joni in the trek from Mississippi. We hope Theresa will join us often - we promise to be nice! (Just a note - I've know Theresa for some time now. Yes, I pick on her, but she picks back!)
We celebrated Barbara's birthday by eating chocolate cake BEFORE a very nice lunch at a local Mexican place! Happy Birthday, Barbara!
Our next meeting will be at Ann's house September 26. We'll be cleaning our machines!
