Meeting Notes
The Machine Knitters of Pensacola, Florida met February 27, 2010. Karen Hughes, Jean Neal, Pat Lawson, Ann Odom, Susan Spencer, and Dianne Bayless attended.
Karen Hughes demonstrated the Brother lace carriage, including the differences between fine lace and plain lace. Thanks Karen!!
Jean Herron of Ontario joined us for this meeting and will be here next month as well. Jean showed us a hand-knit baby cardigan that she's working on from a vintage pattern. Just precious!
Jean Neal was the only one of us to remember to bring lapghans for Our Haven Lady of Peace. She had two, and a shawl besides. We should all step up and finish ours off in time for next month!
Our next meeting is March 27, 2010 at Ann's house. Everyone is to bring small panels to latch together. It's not hard, I promise! Everyone also has an assigned edging to practice and demonstrate. We think this will be a longish meeting, so we'll be bringing bag lunches.
