Meeting Notes

The Machine Knitters of Pensacola, Florida met at the Milton Library March 3, 2007, with Ann Odom, Bob & Frances Roswold, Martha Lyle, Jean Neal, Paige Petty, Dianne Bayless, Karen Hughes, Von deLoach, Barbara Meloy and Susan Spencer in attendance.

Jean Herron of Brampton, Ontario and Melba Barley of Pace visted for the day. Melba went home with a Bond Ultimate Sweater Machine to try!

Barbara Meloy presented a demonstration of cut-and-sew necklines. We brought our sample sweater fronts and neckbands, and used both a sewing machine and a serger to form a neckline, then attached the bands.

April's meeting is April 7, 10:00 a.m. at Susan's house. This is an all-day meeting, and Susan will provide lunch. We will be dyeing yarn to produce self-striping yarn. Please watch your e-mail for homework assignments!
