Meeting Notes
The Machine Knitters of Pensacola, Florida met May 12, 2007 at the Milton Library, with Dianne Bayless, Barbara Meloy, Von deLoach, Bob & Franki Roswold, and Karen Hughes, in attendance.
Dianne Bayless demonstrated converting stitches to rib and fishermans's rib.
Barbara Meloy demonstrated using the mattress stitch to join two pieces of knitted fabric. She also gave details for knitting a skirt sideways and adding a flounce to the bottom.
Ann Odom demonstrated single crochet stitch and shell stich for edging an afghan.
The meeting time for future meetings will be 9:00 AM. The group requests that a 2008 meeting focus on hands-on crochet.
