Meeting Notes

The Machine Knitters of Pensacola, Florida met November 9 & 10, 2007 at Ann Odoms house, with Ann Odom, Jean Neal, Dianne Bayless, Von deLoach, and Susan Spencer in attendance.

Ann Odom has a PERFECT space for our meetings; the lighting is great, there is plenty of room for many machines to be set up, there is a bathroom and a kitchen space with microwave and refrigerator, and we even have our own mascot, who works as well as chocolate at calming the frustrated knitter, without the calories! Ann spoiled us royally by feeding us lunch both days. THANK YOU ANN!.

Von deLoach worked on slippers using her LK-150, while the rest of us knit baby blankets for the Ronald McDonald House. I lost count, but I think that at least 12 baby blankets went home to be edged!

December's meeting will be lunch at Ace's in Milton. Please bring your completed baby blankets so that Karen can take them to Ronald McDonald House. Start thinking now of what demonstrations you'd like to see in 2008, and what you'd like to demonstrate for us.

HAPPY KNITTING!
