Meeting Notes
The Machine Knitters of Pensacola, Florida met September 7, 2007, with Ann Odom, Von deLoach, Barbara Meloy, Martha Lyle and Susan Spencer in attendance.
Ann Odom brought machine knit samples to which she'd added zippers, and discussed several ways to add zippers to your knits.
Future meetings will have to be on Fridays, since budget cuts are now forcing Santa Rosa County libraries to close. If we find that we have fewer knitters able to attend, we will try to find another place to meet on Saturdays. In the past, we've had a very hard time finding a place to meet without it costing us, usually quite a lot.
October's meeting is October 5, 9:00 a.m. at the Milton Library. The scheduled meeting (pants, demonstrated by Sonia Carr) has been rescheduled until next year. Susan Spencer will present a program on entrelac.
